Why isn't my Hostinger website showing in Google?
Hostinger Website Builder sites often stay off Google because of Coming Soon mode or the Hide page from search results setting. Causes and fixes, in order.

Why your Hostinger website isn't on Google
Check these in order. The first ones keep the whole site off Google. The last ones keep single pages off.
- The site is new. Hostinger's help says it can take a couple of days to a couple of weeks for pages to be found and indexed. Search Google for
site:followed by your domain, such assite:example.com. If nothing shows, Google likely has none of your pages yet. URL Inspection in Search Console gives the exact answer for each page. - Coming Soon mode is on. While Coming Soon mode is on, every visitor lands on the Coming Soon page, and the site carries a tag that keeps search engines out. Turn off the switch near the Update or Go Live button.
- A page is hidden from search results. Hide page from search results, in each page's SEO settings, adds
noindexand takes the page out of your sitemap. Turn it off, then update your website. - Something blocks Google's crawler. Hostinger's help says builder sites have no
robots.txtfile, so arobots.txtblock is rare there. Hostinger CDN's Under Attack mode does block search engine bots while it is on. Turn it off when the attack is over. - Search Console doesn't have your site, or has the wrong address. Verify your domain in Search Console. Use
https, and includewwwonly if the www prefix is on in your website settings. Then submit/sitemap.xml. - Pages say too little. Google may skip thin or low-quality pages. Add your own text to the pages you want found.
- Few links point to your pages. Link each page from your navigation menu. A page hidden from the menu stays public, but it gets no links from your other pages.
If only some pages are missing: the three most common reasons on Hostinger
Search Console shows the reason for each page in Indexing > Pages. These three come up most on Hostinger.
- Why it happens
- Hide page from search results adds
noindexto the page. It is easy to leave on after building the site. - The fix
- Open the page's SEO settings, turn off Hide page from search results, and update your website. Then click Validate fix in Search Console.
- Why it happens
- Your site loads with and without
www. Hostinger's help says the AI Builder doesn't support canonical links yet. - The fix
- Set the www prefix in your website settings to the version you want, and use only that version in Search Console and your sitemap.
- Why it happens
- Pages generated from a template with little text give Google little reason to show them.
- The fix
- Write your own content for each page you want found, and link to it from pages that are already on Google.
Where your sitemap is
Hostinger Website Builder makes your sitemap at /sitemap.xml after you publish, and updates it each time you update your website. Submit it in Search Console under Sitemaps.
Questions
Is Coming Soon mode bad for SEO?
While it is on, search engines can't index your site. That is fine while you build. Turn it off at launch, then submit your sitemap in Search Console.
Does hiding a page from the menu hide it from Google?
No. Hostinger's help says pages hidden from the menu stay public and can still appear on Google. Use Hide page from search results to keep a page off Google.
