A TagParrot alternative that shows why pages are not indexed
TagParrot has closed. CrawlCoach finds the pages Google skipped, shows you why, and writes the fixes.
TagParrot's website says it is closed and no longer submits pages. If you used it, here is how CrawlCoach is different, and how to remove TagParrot's access.
TagParrot sent pages to Google's Indexing API. Google only allows that API for job posts and livestream videos. CrawlCoach does not use it. CrawlCoach checks each page in your sitemap with Google's own data, tells you why Google skipped it, and resubmits your sitemap when pages change.
| Topic | TagParrot | CrawlCoach |
|---|---|---|
| Status | Closed, per its site | Open |
| How it works | Sent pages through Google's Indexing API | Checks pages with Google's data, resubmits sitemaps, and writes fixes |
| Search Console access | Its service account added as an Owner | One Google sign-in, no service account |
| Daily limit | 200 pages a day on the base limit | Up to 2,000 page checks a day per site, Google's limit |
| Explains why a page is not indexed | Showed index status | Yes, with the fix for each Search Console reason |
| Bing and other engines | Google only | IndexNow on Pro and Agency |
Remove TagParrot's access
TagParrot asked you to add its account as an Owner of your site in Search Console. Remove it now: in Search Console, open Settings > Users and permissions, and delete that account.
What to do instead of bulk submission
Asking Google again does not change its mind about a page it already skipped. A better page does: your own content, links from your other pages, and one clear main address. CrawlCoach finds those pages, sorts them by reason, and writes the fix. Google makes the final call on what it indexes.
Questions
Is TagParrot still working?
No. On the date we checked, TagParrot's website said it is closed and no longer submits pages.
Can CrawlCoach submit pages through the Indexing API like TagParrot did?
No. Google only allows the Indexing API for job posts and livestream videos. CrawlCoach resubmits your sitemap and tells you why each page was skipped.
