An Indexing Insight alternative for sites up to 50,000 pages
Indexing Insight is built for very large sites, from $75 a month. For up to 50,000 pages per site, CrawlCoach starts free and sends a fix list.

Both tools read Google's own data through Search Console's URL Inspection API. The difference is scale, and what you get back. Indexing Insight monitors up to 1,000,000 URLs and inspects up to 200,000 a day on its biggest plan. CrawlCoach covers up to 50,000 URLs per site and turns what it finds into a fix list.
We make CrawlCoach. If your site has more than 50,000 pages, Indexing Insight is the better pick, and this page says so.

When Indexing Insight is the better pick
Your site has more than 50,000 URLs, you want many pages inspected each day, or your team works in BigQuery. Its Scale plan is $150 a month for 500,000 URLs, 100,000 inspections a day, 10 websites, BigQuery, and an API. Its home page says it monitors up to 1 million pages daily.
When CrawlCoach is the better pick
Your site has up to 50,000 pages, and nobody has time to work out fixes from a report. CrawlCoach sorts missing pages by Search Console's reason and emails you a fix list: the pages you starred and the pages that just left Google come first, then the fixes with the most searches at stake. Starter is $29 a month for 1 site, Pro $59 for 3, and Agency $149 for 15.
Questions
How can a tool inspect more than 2,000 URLs a day?
Google's limit is 2,000 URL Inspection calls per Search Console property per day. A site can verify more properties, such as one for each folder, and each has its own limit. Screaming Frog's guide describes using the most specific property for each URL this way.
Do both tools use Google's own data?
Yes. Indexing Insight says it turns URL Inspection API data into reports, and CrawlCoach reads the same API. Both need access to your Search Console property.
Can I try either one for free?
Indexing Insight has a 7-day trial that needs a card. CrawlCoach's free report checks up to 500 pages once, with no card.
