How to set up IndexNow on Cloudflare

If your site runs on Cloudflare, turn on Crawler Hints. It tells Bing about changes for you. No key file needed.

IndexNow on Cloudflare: Built in

Set it up

  1. In the Cloudflare dashboard, select your domain.
  2. Go to Caching > Configuration.
  3. Turn on Crawler Hints.

With CrawlCoach

You don't need CrawlCoach for IndexNow here. Crawler Hints does it. CrawlCoach still resubmits your sitemap to Google.

What IndexNow does, and what it does not

IndexNow tells Bing and other search engines, such as Yandex, Naver, Seznam, and Yep, that a page changed. Google does not use it. For Google, submit your sitemap in Search Console and fix the reasons Google gives for skipping pages.
