Review snippets errors in Search Console: the fix for each
A Review snippets error means Google won't show stars for that item. Each one has a small fix: a supported type, a rating count, a name for the reviewed item, or the rating scale.

Critical: the item can't show as a rich result until it's fixed.

Invalid object type for field "itemReviewed"
The rating is attached to a type Google doesn't show stars for. Google supports these: Book, Course, CreativeWorkSeason, CreativeWorkSeries, Episode, Event, Game, HowTo, LocalBusiness, MediaObject, Movie, MusicPlaylist, MusicRecording, Organization, Product, Recipe, and SoftwareApplication. A Service, an Article, or a plain CreativeWork won't work, even though schema.org allows ratings on them.
Change the type to the closest supported one, or remove the rating from that page.
Missing reviewed item name
Google needs the name of the thing being rated. When the rating sits inside the item, Google uses that item's name. When it stands alone, it needs itemReviewed with a name.
Either "ratingCount" or "reviewCount" should be specified
An aggregateRating needs an average and a count. Add ratingCount (how many ratings) or reviewCount (how many reviews). One is enough.

</script>Rating is missing required best and/or worst values
Google assumes a 1 to 5 scale. A rating on any other scale, such as 8 out of 10, needs bestRating and worstRating, for example "bestRating": 10 and "worstRating": 1. Write decimals with a dot: 4.4, not 4,4.
Stars gone, but no error?
Check Google's review rules before the markup. A business that shows reviews of itself on its own site, through LocalBusiness or Organization markup or an embedded widget, can't get stars. Reviews copied from other websites don't count either. And the reviews must be visible on the page.
Where review markup comes from
WooCommerce
WooCommerce writes aggregateRating with reviewCount, plus up to 5 recent reviews rated on a 1 to 5 scale, once a product has approved ratings.
Shopify
The structured_data filter in Dawn and Horizon writes no reviews. If your products have stars in Google, a review app writes that markup. Fix errors in the app's settings, or with its support.
BigCommerce
Cornerstone writes aggregateRating and each review into the product markup when product reviews are on and the product has some.

Questions
Why did my review stars disappear from Google?
Check three things: an error in Enhancements > Review snippets, reviews of your own business shown on your own site, and reviews that aren't visible on the page. Google can also choose not to show stars even when the markup is valid.
Can I mark up my Google or Trustpilot reviews on my website?
No. Google's guidelines say not to aggregate reviews or ratings from other websites in your markup.
Do Review snippets errors affect indexing?
No. They affect the stars, not whether the page is in Google's index.

More structured data fixes
- Invalid object type for field "<parent_node>"Google's help doesn't explain <parent_node>. Reports from site owners point to one pattern: the wrong type is on the object the markup hangs from, not on a named field. Test the live page first, then check the types below.
- Either "offers", "review", or "aggregateRating"Google found Product markup with no price, no review, and no rating, so that product can't get a rich result. Give the markup an offer, or remove the stray Product block that shouldn't be there.
- Product snippets: missing fieldsMost Product snippets warnings are non-critical. Missing field "review" or "aggregateRating" usually means the page has a price but no ratings, and Google's own docs say that can trigger a warning you can leave.
